It’s easy to get caught up in the look and feel of a wedding especially when you think aesthetically like I do and it’s easy to forget what a wedding is actually about. It’s not about the food, the decorations or what kind of flowers you have – it means so much more than that. It’s simply about the two of you and the love you have for each other, which is so evident in the way you interact together. Lil and Adi, you both are incredible people in your own way and I love that even though you are so different in the way you think and act that you each bring each other so much happiness just by being you. I’m not going to harp on, but in conclusion I hope that one day I will be lucky enough to find what you have. You are both amazing and I love you! x

So it’s already May tomorrow and it’s crazy how much has been happening in the last few months! This is some work I shot for Frankie Mag’s 53rd issue. I’m also super excited because my darling sisters and I are featured in their Sister story. Words cannot express how much I love those girls. It was so nice to see all of our perspectives come together in a print publication with our ridiculous party hat photo taken on Christmas day (taken by one of the obedient boyfriends though I can’t remember which one). Hey everyone! For something a little different today, watch my stop motion video about the Photography Workshop I am doing at The School‘s Melbourne Roadshow. Thanks to the amazing Megan Morton, superwoman and goddess of styling, I am going to teach you all the things about Photography! With a focus on photography for bloggers, I will be there to teach you about storytelling, answer your every question and show you everything I know about creating beautiful images that people will want to Pin the living daylight out of. The class will be on the 3rd of May 2013 from 10-2pm and bookings are being taken here. So much excitement ahead, so please come and get snappy with me! x

It was a beautiful summer’s day down on the Great Ocean Road when Kirsty (who runs the super cute blog Otis and Otto) and Simon were to be married. I went along for the ride to take some photos for them and I must say it was one of the best weddings I have ever been to. Everything was wonderfully styled and planned, a gorgeous paper flower backdrop and other paper decorations were created by the talented Marsha Golemac and everyone was just relaxing and having a great time. Congratulations to the happy cute couple and your gorgeous little girl Marly! x

You will never meet a more anti-valentines day threesome than me, Marsha Golemac and Lucy Feagins from The Design Files. So naturally, we went against everything we stand for to conjure up a Valentines Day photo shoot featuring some little goodies to get your he or she. Makes perfect sense, yes?

I am so excited for 2013! This year is going to be big. It’s going to be filled with lots of travel, inspiring work and wonderful friends and family. I am so grateful for the loved ones I have in my life and I couldn’t wish for a better group of people around me. This year started with a trip down the coastline with some of these amazing people to chill, collect shells, forage through forests and take photos. These are just some of my favourites. I wish you all the very best for this year, be kind to one another. x

It’s Christmas yet again and the wonderful, amazing, brilliant Lucy Feagins from The Design Files asked Marsha Golemac (my decided “sister from another mister”) and myself to style and photograph a beautiful little gift guide for TDF readers – which also happens to be a giveaway (you can see the post here). I am seriously loving the outcome of this shoot and so happy to be collaborating with the ridiculous talents of both Lucy and Marsha. The Design Files Open House is now officially open!! I had the pleasure of shooting this amazing space and for those of you who are wondering, the open house is a once a year pop up event where a whole home is transformed into an incredible, colourful wonderland. It is completely filled from top to bottom with design pieces from a bunch of artists and designers (including the amazing Marimekko lantern installation by my super talented friend Marsha Golemac). Everything in the house is for sale and it’s open from today until Sunday 2nd December! Definitely not something you should miss if you’re in the Melbourne area. If you’re lucky you may even meet Lucy Feagins, the incredible lady behind the whole thing.
